The Dual Cone 70 / 112 is a full-range speaker component designed to improve frequency response using a dual cone structure. This design includes a main cone and a secondary whizzer cone, allowing the speaker to reproduce both low and high frequencies efficiently.
When the voice coil moves inside the magnetic gap, vibration drives the main cone to produce bass and mid frequencies, while the whizzer cone reproduces higher frequencies (treble). This allows a single speaker driver to deliver clear vocals and balanced full-range sound without requiring a separate tweeter.
